RESPONSIBILITIEs:
Implement policies and procedures for assigned production support unit
Oversee and manage all event operations
Provide technical resource-based support for projects
Collaborate with support staff to ensure adherence to standards and understand production objectives
Monitor and report project progress, technician's work and challenges to management
Assist in equipment preparation and recommendations
Maintain positive communication with clients, staff, attendees, speakers & venue
Coordinate pre/post event planning and execution
Develop project timeline and track expenses, maintaining budget integrity
REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum 4 years as an Audio Visual Technician required
Minimum 1 year in Warehouse Management required
Valid Class 5 BC Driver's License
Fluent in English with strong communication skills (verbal and written)
Flexible availability for early mornings, evenings, and weekends
Highly organized & detail oriented
Demonstrates high integrity
Able to lift up to 50 lbs
Must be proficient with the following software:
Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, e-mail & calendar)
Flex
Adobe Illustrator, InDesign & Photoshop
Vectorworks “Spotlight” 2013 (or newer)
If unfamiliar with any of the above programs, training can be provided.
